Salochana Packery

Salochana is an admitted attorney at Jan L Jordaan Inc. and heads the deceased estates department. Salochana has in excess of 13 years experience in this specialised field of deceased estate administration and brings a wealth of expertise and knowledge from her corporate exposure in the industry.

Salochana's journey in the legal field started when she personally had to attend to the administration requirements of her late father's estate. This led to her interest in pursuing a career in the legal fraternity and her passion for people has led her on the path of the administration of deceased estates. She began her part time study of her LL.B degree in 2013 at the University of South Africa (UNISA) and successfully completed the degree in 2019 and was admitted as an Attorney in 2020 and as a Notary in 2022.

Her leadership qualities, meticulous working acumen, professionalism and ability to value the individual needs of all clients are clearly visible in all her interactions with people and clearly aligns with the business principles of the company.

When not studying, Salochana takes great delight in giving back to the community.
